I’ve set a REALLY BIG goal!

If you’re anything like me, I’m sure you’ve spent the last several days making plans for the New Year.

Some of my goals are business related (of course).

Some are personal development (always).

And some are, well… kind of BIG!

Urge to Climb!

You see, last summer, when we were in Colorado, I got a chance to do a little hiking. Up over 12,500 feet.   

It was exhilarating! 

And, for this girl from Houston (sea level!)… it was quite a challenge. The part that was the biggest challenge was breathing while exerting energy at that altitude. 

So, I’ve done what any logical person would do, and set a goal to climb one of Colorado’s 14’ers.  In fact, I’ve even picked out the one I’m going to climb. Handie’s Peak in Southwestern Colorado.  

Shoot for the Moon

As the saying goes:

“Shoot for the Moon.

Even if you miss, you’ll land among the stars.”

Yes, I’m shooting for the moon (or, in this case a 14,000 foot mountain). My plan is to reach the top.  But at the very least, I’ll see some beautiful Colorado mountains along the way!
